We're in full-blown summer and this time of the. year that means the canola is also in full bloom. The countryside is awash in bright yellow squares of colour that can almost hurt your eyes. We have taken many pictures of our grandkids in the canola fields. Mostly because they don't mind posing with us!

The wildflowers are also in bloom. I love flowers. Love my flower pots on my deck and hanging from my portsh. I plant I nurture and trim and water them, watching them grow with please, but seeing a wildflower is like a small gift that just shows up without any work on my part. A little touch of God, I like to say. They bloom whether someone sees them or not.

So I take pictures to capture them and to share. Hope you enjoy these.

The first two are canola fields in bloom. the third one is called Paintbrush, not sure what the fourth is and the fifth, of course, is a tiger lilly. Just for fun I tossed in a picture of my own favourite flower growing in my flower garden, also a lilly!
