Life has been flowing in in so many different ways the past month or two. My mother's passing, the grieving and the adjusting. It has been difficult at times, but also I have a thankful feeling of completion. Her time is over, she ran the race.
As a family, during this sad time, we also had something so amazing to look forward to. Our son's wedding. I found it interesting that life has so many ebbs and flows, grief to joy. I'm thankful and humbled by how our loving Father has brought us through this journey.Â
I am so thankful for my son and my new daughter-in-law. They are a blessing to each other and to us. And so because I shared my sorrow, I also want to share my joy!
It was a beautiful ceremony. I laughed. I cried. My husband and I and our families celebrated. What more could one ask for!
Between the time my mother passed and we were getting ready for the wedding, I found it hard to concentrate on writing. But at the same time I had a need to do something! I made a slideshow for the wedding, wrote a speech but also did something else that I discovered was quite fun!
Leonard's Lines
While Richard and Carolyne were off having fun, they brought me to a kennel. Which. Was. Awesome. I got to play with other dogs, go for walks and chase balls around. I'm glad they didn't take me along. I would have been so bored.
I like being home, but this was a lot of fun as well.
Leonard really enjoyed his kennel time. It's a great place and always busy so I was thankful to get him in.
For the rest, life flows on. I am so thankful for all the good memories, but, not going to lie, I'm thankful to be putting away my suitcase for awhile. Thankful to look forward to being home.
I like it here!
I'm also thankful for work I love to get back to. Like I said, I'll keep you posted about the new series and the new town!
Take care and blessings to you all.
