When I heard Anara Kittering was coming back, can't say I was too thrilled. Hard to know how to handle seeing her again. We used to date but something changed. Not sure what and she wouldn't tell me. When she married Wes Briggs, I figured that was it. Especially when it was Wes whose recklessness killed my father. Sure Wes died in prison, but the shadow hangs over the family. I need to move on from the past and Anara is definitely not in my future. I just wish my sister, Paige, wasn't so stuck on working in Anara's bakery. That makes everything more complicated than I want.
