Some of these have gone by the way, some I still like to dabble in. But there's one thing I've always enjoyed doing and that's taking pictures. I've always had a camera at one time or another in my life. I don't know how many pictures I've taken, but didn't turn out but at least I tried. Or so I told myself. When digital cameras came out I was very excited. Suddenly I could take all the pictures I wanted and it didn't matter if they didn't turn out. I could just delete them.
Another thing I've had some difficulty with, is the fact that I'm an early adopter. I like the new things, the shiny gadgets, but when it comes to cameras I have had to hold myself back. As I started delving more and more into the whole camera scene, I realize that this is a very scary black hole I could easily get sucked into. There's always a new lens, a new camera, a new filter, a new tripod, a new camera case,….The list can go on and on and on.
I did buy myself a new camera a year ago. I have to confess it is "new and shiny". But it is a lot of fun. I'm trying to learn how to use it properly between all the other things I'm learning.
I want to show you a couple pictures I've taken with it so you can see how much fun I'm having with it.
